The Black Eyed Peas

I have yet to send out any autographs TTM anytime recently but even so I have gotten some great autographs lately! This is yet another one I won from a blog giveaway! Hmmm...looks as thought I have found a new source to obtain autographs from. Luck seems to be on my side, for anyone new to my blog late last year I won autographed items from OneRepublic and Maroon 5! Special Thanks to Valerie over at Sweeps4Bloggers. That's where I won a Black Eyed Peas prize package consisting of the signed 8x10 photo above as well as a signed copy of the band's latest album, The Beginning.

Maroon 5

Back with another autograph! This weekend's batch of mail brought me a signed copy of Maroon 5's latest album that I won from a blog contest on Frugal Family Fun! I have tried unsuccessfully to get Maroon 5's autograph via mail so really happy to have won this! :)

OneRepublic

Today's mail brought me a new autograph! I won a signed copy of One Republic's new album Waking Up from a giveaway that was hosted on a music blog The Audio Perv. I especially love to collect autographs from my favorite bands but it is not always so easy to obtain them via mail, so I'm really happy I won this and now get to add One Republic's autograph to my ever growing collection of signatures! I have been a fan ever since I first heard "Apologize" and am loving their new songs as well!

Mark-Paul Gosselaar

I came home from work to find a manila envelope laying on my bed. It's been quite awhile since I got a good old manila envelope in the mail! I don't even really remember when I last sent a request out to be honest so I had no idea who was inside. I loved Saved By the Bell growing up so I was very very pleased when I found it was Mark-Paul Gossellar aka Zack Morris. Also aka my first celebrity crush. Oh what I would give to be Kelly Kapowski! I wrote Mark-Paul via venue back in the fall when he was performing in "The Understudy".

Jason Castro

As always it's been awhile but I'm back with another fabulous autograph to share! Jason Castro was one of my favorites during American Idol Season 7. He won me over from his audition when he sang the Keith Urban song "Once In A Lifetime". Ever since then I've been wanting to add his autograph to my collection. I was lucky enough to get this 8x10 signed photo as a prize from a radio station recently!

Zoe Saladana

I received my first autograph of the new year about a week ago. Surprisingly it was a request I sent way back during the summer of 2007. It's always nice to get those unexpected requests back. Anyways I received an 8x10 signed and inscribed photo of actress Zoe Saladana as well as a typed & signed form letter of what she's been up too. Zoe was in the movie Crossroads with Britney Spears and she also played the pirate Anamarie in the first POTC movie.

Victor Navone

I received a sketch of Nemo and Squirt from Disney animator Victor Navone back in November. I figured I would post it today as it's my last response of 2009! Victor has worked on many notable Disney films such as Finding Nemo, Cars, Monsters Inc. and the Incredibles. I would have posted this earlier but I also had Victor sketch Lighting McQueen from Cars for my dad. Since I recieved it so close to the holidays I decided to give the sketch to my dad as a suprise Christmas present! Now I need to work on sending some more requests out. It seems I never have much time to send them out anymore. I'll try my best though and hope 2010 will continue to bring more awesome successes!

Flashback: Roy E. Disney

I haven't really had the time to send out any autograph requests lately so hence really haven't been receiving any. It's been about a month since I posted anything new on my blog and last night my dad was telling me that Roy E. Disney passed away. I wrote to him way back in 2001 when I first began sending out a bunch of autograph requests. I received this signed color photo of him and thought it would be nice to post this week in memory of him. The New York Times published a great overview today about his life and many accomplishments with Walt Disney Co.

Katy Perry

This past summer I wrote a request to Katy Perry. My last success for the month of October was this lovely signed color photo from Katy. She is another one of my favorite new artists. With her witty and addicting songs she definitely stands out from the crowd!

Jude Law

Jude Law is currently starring on Broadway in the production Hamlet. I loved him in the movie The Holiday. Last week I sent him this photo I got printed up and already got it back signed today! A FAST success and a fabulous addition to my collection.

Erin McCarley

Got another autograph in the mail today! Lately it seems my theme for autographs is female singer/songwriters and this one is no exception. I got a signed printout on glossy paper of a new artist Erin McCarley. I discovered her music this year when I downloaded her song "Pony (It's Okay)" back when it was the free song of the week on iTunes. Also really love the track "Love, Save the Empty".

Colbie Caillat

Earlier this month I sent a request to Colbie Caillat. I was suprised last week to recieve a response so soon. I got this signed photo as well as a sheet of Colbie Caillat stickers! Colbie is one of my new favorite singers over recent years. Head over to her Myspace to check out the new songs from Breakthrough as well as her hit single "Bubbly".

Brooke White

Yesterday I received back the 8x10 photo I sent to Brooke White from Season 7! I absolutely LOVE her cover version of Coldplay's hit song "Yellow"(from her pre-American Idol days) and her newly released single "Radio, Radio". Haven't heard them? David Cook

Today brought my first autograph success of the summer! I received a signed promotional 8x10 photo of the Season 7 American Idol finalist and winner David Cook. He is truly talented! It's hard to believe he attended the AI audition without the intention of trying out himself but instead to support his brother who was auditioning! I'm happy to add David to my collection. His career is off to a great start and he is one of my personal favorites from AI over the years!

Kara Dioguardi

I been awhile since I got an autograph TTM, so I was surprised to see one of those good old manila envelopes in the mail this weekend. In it was this signed and inscribed photo from Kara Dioguardi who is the new judge on this season of American Idol! Love her! She is also a songwriter and has written hit songs for pop artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Hilary Duff, Pink, Ashlee Simpson, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguliera and Celine Dion. Drew Lachey- IN PERSON! :)

My April ended on a high note. It was 98 Degrees and Rising...well, sort of. I met Drew Lachey, my favorite member of 98 Degrees! He signed and inscribed a photo for me as well as my Revelation album cover. Out of the few celebrities I have met in-person without a doubt he tops my list- he seems like such a down to earth and genuinely nice person! :)

Mackenzie Crook

Haven't got around to updating my blog in awhile but I do have some new autographs, one of them being another addition to my collection of the Pirates of the Caribbean cast! In November I sent off a request to Mackenzie Crook via the Broadway play The Seagull. He returned the photo from POTC that I sent shortly after in December- signed and inscribed to me. Another treasure for my collection!

Nikki Blonsky

I haven't sent out to many letters lately but apparently "You Can't Stop the Beat". Yesterday I received my photo back from Nikki Blonsky, the actress who played Tracy Turnbald in recent film version of Hairspray. She signed and inscribed my photo and sent me a nice little note thanking me for my letter and wishing me Happy Holidays! A class act for sure! :)

The Goo Goo Dolls

Yesterday I got my copy of the Goo Goo Dolls Vol.2 special internet edition CD that was only available as a pre-order. The CD came with a limited edition lithograph. A small number of them would be autographed. I lucked out and got one of the autographed ones!!! So excited about this one. I have been wanting the Goo Goo Dolls autographs for awhile but never had any success writing them via venue.

Peter Cullen

I was suprised to find this success in the mail last week as I wrote Peter a long time ago. I think the spring or summer of 2007 (I lost track of the record). Anyhow, I am glad to receive a response from him to add to my collection of Disney Voice actors. Peter Cullen provides the voice of Eeyore and he sent me this fabulous color photo of him and Eeyore that he signed and inscribed in silver sharpie!
